Objective
Co-create a spirit brand from the ground up, help craft brand strategy, lead creative initiatives, and manage the brand to ensure consistency.
Role
Founding creative wearing multiple hats— art director, packaging designer, graphic designer, content creator and photographer.
Execution
Positioned the brand as a quality, “better-for-you” drink with the premium label texture, intricate design inspired by Japanese paper-cutting art (Kirié), and bright and crisp lifestyle photography. Leveraged the freshness of the green and symbolism of the owl to establish authority and introduce a more mindful way to sip.
Outcome
Green Owl became one of the few female-owned spirit brands sold in the LCBO in Canada, successfully expanding distribution and raising funding within the first year.
